Efficacy and Improvement of
Online Depression Treatment Programs

Researchers at The University of Sydney, Australia, are conducting an exploratory study about the efficacy and improvement of online depression treatment resources such as online counselling and support services.  

We are looking for participants to complete a brief, anonymous online questionnaire. The volunteer research participants should be people who are: 

  • Over the age of 18

  • Have accessed online depression resources in the last 12 months either for self-help, education or for online group support and advice from other users or mental health providers.
     

THIS STUDY HAS CONCLUDED. RESULTS OF THE STUDY WILL BE AVAILABLE UNDER 'PUBLICATIONS' ON WWW.PROMETHEUS.NET.AU WHEN PUBLISHED IN A PEER-REVIEWED JOURNAL. THIS CAN BE A LENGTHY PROCESS, BUT IT IS HOPED A PUBLICATION WILL BE POSTED ON THE WEBSITE BY LATE 2008.

This research project has the approval of the University's Human Ethics Committee.
